Minivan Bed Support Setup & Use

Overview

The Minivan Bed Supports are used to support your TrunkMate bed in a minivan, cargo van, or any vehicle with a flat cargo floor. They are included with your TrunkMate SUV sleeping platform when you specify at checkout that your primary vehicle is a minivan or other vehicle with flat cargo floor.

Included with your TrunkMate Kit

One complete set of bed supports consists of 2 triangular base pieces (with included legs & hardware) and 1 long bar that connects to the base pieces.

For single kits, 1 set of bed supports is provided.
For double kits, 2 sets of bed supports are included.

Additional sets may be added to increase under-bed support along the middle portions of your TrunkMate bed, and can be purchased from our website.

Applications

You can use these bed supports with your 2nd row captain seats pushed forward, or with the seats removed entirely from the vehicle.

Adjustable Control

The Minivan Bed Supports are fully adjustable and work well inside any space. If your minivan floor is uneven or there are trim pieces protruding from the floor, you can adjust the supports to ensure proper setup of your TrunkMate Minivan/SUV camper conversion kit.

Height-Adjustable

The Minivan Bed Supports are fully height-adjustable. Whatever height you raise your TrunkMate camper, you can match that height with these minivan bed supports to ensure your bed sets up perfectly level.

Width-Adjustable

The Minivan Bed Supports are fully width-adjustable. If your cargo floor has sliding seat tracks/rails that protrude, you’ll need to make sure the bed supports rest on top of them. The multiple notches on the bed supports allow you to configure the width so you can place them at strategic locations on the floor of your minivan.

Setup in your Minivan

To set up the Minivan Bed Supports in your vehicle, first place your TrunkMate kit in your trunk and extend the metal bed frame to see where the bed supports will need to go.

Next, assemble the Minivan Bed Support and place it underneath the bed frame so the metal bed frame rests in the notched cutouts in the wooden bar piece.
