Five star product and five star customer service. I ordered the 24”inch wide single BlitzBed after a fair amount of communication with Grant. He thoroughly and quickly answered all of my questions as I determined if the bed would work for my vehicle (2023 Subaru Forester) and also solve issues with my current setup. When I was finally ready to place my order (some months after my initial communications with Grant) he expedited shipping, and my bed arrived in time for me to take it on a last-minute three night trip. The basic support brackets are adequate for my needs, and after a very brief learning curve, the bed set up in a snap, and remained solid as a rock throughout my trip. I drove with the bed fully deployed, and there was absolutely no rattling or shifting of the bed. My sleep quality has improved as a result of my BlitzBed purchase, and I’m so impressed at what a huge difference it has made! Previously, a thin Thermarest mummy pad, and my mattress (Hest Foamy) were placed directly on the cargo floor, and a Rubbermaid tub was used to bridge the footwell gap. This setup was comfortable, and mostly flat. However, despite this, something about the full mattress support and absolute flatness provided by the BlitzBed has changed my sleep game; I never had to hoist myself up from an incline or feel the edges of my mattress giving way. I used an extremely thin, travel-style yoga mat directly on top of the BlitzBed (great mattress protection, and also keeps mattress from sliding around) and placed my mattress on top of that. I’m female, 58, 5’6”/150# and would say I am a medium-active sleeper. The bed never gave an inch. It fully, levelly, and comfortably supported me throughout the entire night. While I was concerned about the inevitable loss of headroom (I could fully sit up in my previous setup) I can still sit on the bed with some not too uncomfortable hunching over, and accomplish what needs to be done. I also keep my 40% split back seat up so that provides an area to sit if I really need more room to maneuver for a particular task. I have kept the BlitzBed on its lowest leg setting, and was still able to find 4-inch high plastic storage bins that will slide under the bed. I have four of these bins in the front part of the bed (accessible from the passenger doors) and two in the back part of the bed (accessible from the hatch). Additionally, I’m very happy to have my right rear passenger footwell space back, since I no longer require a Rubbermaid tub for mattress support. This allows me more flexibility to put whatever I want into that space, be it firewood, a cooler, boots, etc. I’m surprised that there are not more options like the BlitzBed on the market. It was happy luck that after extensive research I came across TrunkMate’s website. As a solo traveler, I didn’t want a bed taking up the entire back portion of my car, nor did I want to “sleep on the ceiling” with a high-legged platform bed. I also live in a cold climate, so I wanted something that could easily be removed from my car off-season. The BlitzBed is it! Grant is really on to something here, and I am pleased to support his company. I wish TrunkMate continued success, and I thoroughly recommend purchasing a product from this company.

Love the product I slept in my 2023 Hyundai Santa fe last night to give it a try much better than sleeping on the hump of the SUV Suggestion, put instructions on drawer assembly in the package or better yet ship it assembled not much difference in shipping. The product is still a little unrefined stage a bit further down the line it will get better but having said that it's a great start it's hands down better than I could ever build and it does work looking forward to seeing future products.

If I could leave 100 stars I would! Best customer service I have received anywhere in 50+ years. And the product simply speaks for itself. I have an Acura MDX and Grant hooked me up with the perfect build to use on my 15000+ km trip around the USA. Looking forward to using it for years to come!!

While researching extensively on building the right SUV bed platform for my needs, I came across another customer’s review of trunk mate. I was intrigued by the design as it met all my needs! I needed it to be “low profile”, lightweight but strong and durable, and fully collapsible so I would have full use of my SUV during the day. This exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t be happier. Additionally, I had a call with Grant before I purchased because I was nervous about whether this product would work for me and shipping it across the country. Grant patiently addressed all my questions and concerns. The product was expeditiously shipped and arrived in a little over a week with no issues. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would 🌟☺️!

I just want to say that TrunkMate is great to work with and will answer any questions you have. I just ordered the BlitzBed Single 20” and received it today. I haven’t went camping yet but I did set it up in my Hyundai Tucson and put my trifold mattress on it to test it out. Just let me say it is a game changer! Very comfortable and it is great that you can adjust the height of the bed. Can’t wait to go camping. Great product!!

After searching all available bed platform options for my Subaru Outback, I found that TrunkMate's BlitzBed checked all my boxes - lowest possible height (more headroom), ultra portable, allowing me to store in trunk and still use rear seats. TrunkMate's 16"/24" combo works perfectly with my car's 60/40 split seats. The engineering Grant put into the platform is outstanding - clever low weight design that doesn't minimize durability, flawless CNC fit, elegant, yet super easy & quick setup. What impressed me most was Grant's customer service! He was super quick in answering my questions and even helped in selecting the best mattress - a 25" x 75" tri-fold memory foam for when I'm solo camping and a 38" x 75" version when I'm camping with a friend. The two of these were less money than the high end air mattress I was considering. I ordered my BlitzBed on a Friday and received it in less than a week, all the while receiving updates from Grant. It arrived fully assembled and ready to use in very secure packaging. If you want to spend more time adventuring and less time setting up your car camping rig, I definitely would recommend TrunkMate. Excellent product, outstanding customer service!

After a lot of research. I looked at a lot of companies in the USA and the UK. I found TrunkMate! A company that is like no other. No one had built anything for a 2021Nissan Kicks. But Grant at TrunkMate was willing to meet with me. Grant took measurements and made it happen!!! I am so happy with my Elevation kit. The storage, cook top, sink. A little more then a full size bed. All in my Nissan Kicks. Grant gave me a timeline as to when the product would be done, they kept me in the loop of the whole process and where done 4 days ahead of time. What a awesome Product!!!!! What a awesome experience!!!!!!!

This is an amazing product for a retiree on the go. I am impressed with Grant and his fantastic customer service. After an intensive internet search about building platforms in suv, cars, vans etc. I came across Grants products. I was delighted that this is something that I wanted. I decided on the 24” Blitz model for my Subaru Forester. The design is well thought out, light weight and easy for me to handle. I love the fact that the product is one piece and in a compact form that can be stored in the trunk, or easily moved to storage.

I bought the 40/60 Blitz Bed for my 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross and its awesome. Used it on 2 seperate paddling trips so far and just could not be happier with it. Easy to use and love having the storage space under it. Grant was super easy to work with and received it super quick.
