The Cancellations & Deposits Policy is effective as of February 5, 2026
Order Cancellations
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Because most TrunkMate products are made to order, cancellations are time-sensitive.
Cancellation Window
Orders may be canceled for a full refund (minus non-refundable payment processing fees) if production has not yet begun.
Once production has started, cancellation may not be possible without fees.
If production materials have been cut, assembled, or allocated to your order, a restocking fee of up to 10% of the order total may apply.
Payment processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from all cancellations.
Production Cutoff
Production typically begins shortly after an order is placed.
Rush orders enter production immediately and may not be eligible for cancellation.
If your order has already shipped, it can no longer be canceled and will fall under our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Deposits
Non-Refundable Deposits
Deposits placed to secure production slots, custom work, or special builds are non-refundable.
Deposits are applied toward your final balance and reserve time, materials, and production capacity.
Local Pickup Deposits (Store Credit)
If a local pickup order with a deposit is canceled after production has begun, the deposit may be converted to store credit at our discretion.
Store credit:
- Does not expire
- Is non-transferable
- May only be used for future TrunkMate purchases
Payment Processing Fees
All cancellations and deposit refunds are subject to non-refundable payment processing fees, including:
- Debit & Credit Transactions: 2.9%
- PayPal Transactions: 3.49%
- Buy-Now-Pay-Later Transactions: 6%
- International Transactions: Higher processing fees may apply
These fees reflect charges from the payment processor and are not retained as profit by TrunkMate.
