The Shipping & Delivery Policy is effective as of July 26, 2026.
All TrunkMate orders ship from our facility in Southern California using a third-party shipping carrier.
Most products are handmade to order and require production time before shipment.
Orders ship after production is completed.
Delivery dates shown in tracking emails are estimates. Once your package leaves our facility, delivery timing is handled by the shipping carrier.
Shipping Costs
Shipping is calculated automatically at checkout.
Free Shipping Thresholds
Orders of $1,199 or more qualify for free standard ground shipping within the lower 48 United States.
Free shipping does not apply to:
- Alaska
- Hawaii
- Canada
- Expedited shipping services
- Rush production fees
Customers in Alaska or Hawaii must contact us before ordering to receive a shipping quote.
Production Lead Time
Standard, non-custom orders require production time before shipping.
The estimated ship date shown when your order is placed reflects the production lead time in effect at that time.
Production lead time:
- Begins after your order is placed
- Applies before shipping transit time
- Is separate from carrier delivery time
Selecting expedited shipping does not reduce production time.
Selecting Rush Production shortens the production timeline but does not guarantee a specific delivery date.
Custom orders may require additional production time.
Standard and Expedited Shipping
By default, eligible orders ship using standard ground service.
Estimated ground transit time is generally 3–6 business days, depending on the destination and shipping carrier.
Expedited shipping options may be available at checkout or by request.
If you need your order by a specific date, we recommend contacting us before placing your order.
All transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Rush Production
Need your order to leave our facility sooner?
What Rush Production Includes
Selecting Rush Production at checkout moves your order into an expedited production schedule.
Rush Production:
- Requires an additional fee shown at checkout
- Applies only to the estimated ship date
- Does not guarantee a delivery date
- May not be available for custom orders
- Does not change carrier transit time
Rush Production speeds up the time required to make and ship your order. It does not speed up the shipping service unless you also select an expedited shipping method.
Delivery Responsibility
Once a package is marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, responsibility for the package transfers to the customer.
TrunkMate is not responsible for:
- Lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses entered at checkout
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.
Shipping to Canada
We currently ship internationally to Canada only.
Duties, Taxes & Import Fees
Canadian customers are responsible for:
- Import duties
- Customs fees
- Taxes
- Brokerage charges
These charges are determined by Canadian customs and the shipping carrier. They are not included in the purchase price or shipping amount paid to TrunkMate.
The shipping carrier or customs authority may bill these charges directly to the recipient.
Failure to pay required import fees may result in the shipment being refused or returned.
Refused or Undeliverable Shipments
If a shipment is refused or returned because of:
- An incorrect or incomplete address
- Failure to pay import duties or fees
- Delivery refusal unrelated to a product defect
The customer is responsible for:
- The original outbound shipping cost
- The return shipping cost
- Any applicable restocking fees
If the order qualified for free shipping, the actual outbound shipping cost paid by TrunkMate may still be deducted from the customer’s refund.
