The Return & Refund Policy is effective as of February 5, 2026

Our aim is to make the return process as simple as possible. To help with this, please keep the original boxes and packaging until you are 100% sure you are satisfied with the product.

Return Eligibility

Return Window (45 Days From Purchase)

Returns must be initiated within 45 days of the original purchase date.
This window applies regardless of delivery date, lead time, or installation timing.

Condition Requirements (Like-New Condition)

You are welcome to test-fit and evaluate your TrunkMate product.

Returned items must be in like-new condition, meaning:

  • No excessive wear
  • No structural damage
  • No missing components
  • No permanent alterations

If returned items show wear, damage, or use beyond reasonable test-fitting, we reserve the right to apply an increased restocking fee of up to 50%.

Packaging Requirements

Original packaging must be retained and used for all returns.

If original packaging is not used:

  • We will not provide return shipping labels
  • The customer is responsible for packaging, shipping, and all related costs
  • Damage caused by improper packaging may result in a restocking fee of up to 50%

Restocking Fees

Standard Restocking Fee (10%)

All approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee, which helps cover inspection, handling, and repackaging costs.
This fee is deducted from the refund amount.

Increased Fees for Wear, Damage, or Improper Packaging

If returned items show:

  • Excessive wear
  • Damage
  • Missing components
  • Improper or insufficient packaging

We reserve the right to increase the restocking fee up to 50% of the product price.

Return Shipping

Return Labels & Shipping Costs

For returns not related to a warranty defect, customers are responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Any return label fees (deducted from the refund)

For approved warranty defects, return shipping may be covered at our discretion.

Unauthorized Returns (No Return Initiation)

Returns must be initiated through our return system before shipping anything back.

Items returned without prior authorization:

  • Are not eligible for a refund
  • May be refused or returned at the customer’s expense

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout unless otherwise required by law.

Refund Processing Time (5–10 Business Days)

Once a return is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.

Processing time does not include:

  • Bank processing delays
  • Credit card issuer timelines

Refunds Based on Amount Paid

Refunds are calculated based on the actual amount paid, including discounts, promotions, or store credit applied at checkout.

Credit Card Processing Fees

Original credit card processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.

Abandoned or Unclaimed Returns

Storage & Disposal Timeline

If returned items remain unclaimed after return processing is completed, we reserve the right to:

  • Charge storage fees, or
  • Dispose of or recycle the items after a reasonable holding period

No refunds will be issued for abandoned returns.
