The Shipping & Delivery Policy is effective as of February 5, 2026
All TrunkMate orders ship via UPS from our warehouse in Southern California.
Most products are handmade to order and require a 2-week production lead time before shipment.
Orders ship after production is completed.
Delivery dates shown in tracking emails are estimates. Once your package leaves our facility, delivery timing is handled by UPS.
Shipping Costs
Shipping is calculated automatically at checkout.
Free Shipping Thresholds
Orders over $1,000 qualify for free UPS Ground shipping within the lower 48 United States only.
Free shipping does not apply to:
- Alaska
- Hawaii
- Canada
- Expedited air services
- Rush production fees
Customers in Alaska or Hawaii must contact us before ordering to receive a shipping quote.
Production Lead Time
All standard (non-custom) orders require approximately 2 weeks of production time before shipping.
This lead time:
- Begins after your order is placed
- Applies before any shipping transit time
- Is separate from UPS delivery time
Selecting expedited shipping does not reduce production time.
If you select Rush Ordering, your order will ship within 3 business days (see below).
Custom orders may require longer production times.
UPS Ground vs Expedited Shipping
By default, orders ship via UPS Ground (3–6 business days transit time depending on location).
If Ground isn’t fast enough, expedited options are available at checkout.
If you need your order by a specific date, we recommend selecting an expedited shipping method at checkout or contacting us before ordering.
Transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

What Rush Ordering Includes
Selecting RUSH ORDER at checkout ensures your order will ship within 3 business days of purchase.
Rush ordering:
- Requires a 15% fee
- Applies to ship-by date only (not delivery date)
- Does not guarantee delivery timing
- Is not available for custom orders
- Does not change UPS transit time
Rush ordering speeds up production time — not UPS transit time.
Delivery Responsibility
Once your package is marked as delivered by UPS, responsibility transfers to the customer.
We are not responsible for:
- Lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery
- Incorrect shipping addresses entered at checkout
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.
Shipping to Canada
We currently ship internationally to Canada only.
Duties, Taxes & Import Fees
Canadian customers are responsible for:
- Import duties
- Customs fees
- Taxes
- Brokerage charges
These charges are determined by Canadian customs and are not included in your purchase price.
UPS will bill these fees directly to the recipient upon delivery.
Failure to pay import fees may result in the shipment being returned.
Refused or Undeliverable Shipments
If a shipment is refused or returned due to:
- Incorrect address
- Failure to pay import duties (Canada)
- Delivery refusal not related to product defect
The customer is responsible for:
- Original outbound shipping cost
- Return shipping cost
- Applicable restocking fees
If your order qualified for free shipping, the actual shipping cost we paid will still be deducted from your refund.
